IFMT’S ACADEMIC COMMUNITY RELATIONS WITH DIGITAL MEDIA IN TIMES OF PANDEMIC

This article aimed to understand the paths being taken by the academic community of the IFMT during the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on its relations with digital media. To this end, a qualitative approach study was carried out in which three lives promoted by SINASEFE/MT were analyzed with the teachers, students, and technicians. It was noticed that the main difficulty reported by teachers and students was the lack of access to quality internet and equipment by students. In this way, the main administrative actions mentioned by the technicians aimed to make possible access to students in a condition of social vulnerability. When considering the results of the analyses, it is clear that the period of social isolation, despite having its actions characterized by improvisation, can be a source of learning for the academic community, however, this depends on robust planning in the resumption of face-to-face activities.
