THE INFORMATION SOCIETY: AN EXPERIENCE REPORT IN THE DISCIPLINE OF EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE IN CONTEMPORARY TIMES

The purpose of this experience report is to reflect on the current society, which is strongly marked by the advent of technologies. For that, it starts from discussions of the discipline of Education and Knowledge in Contemporary of the Graduate Program in Education (PPGE), of the State University of Goiás (UEG) - Inhumas, in the year 2021/1. The report permeates the conceptualization of the social body, its historical aspects and thinking/reflecting on contemporary issues that allowed this collectivity to be known today by polysemic terms, such as information society, knowledge society, technological society, among others that are assigned in the 21st century. From this, it was possible to move the thought towards deepening knowledge, which, in turn, resulted in this report.
