GEPEIMAZ CONTRIBUTIONS TO RESEARCH IN MATHEMATICS EDUCATION IN THE WESTERN REGION OF PARÁ

This article presents a brief discussion about the production of knowledge developed by the participants of the Study and Research Group on Mathematics Education and Interdisciplinarity in the Amazon (GEPEIMAZ). It presents production indicators focused on studies and proposals developed in different areas of investigation, more specifically, in the western region of the state of Pará. We present an overview of the productions associated with the developed studies, and the organization and treatment of information was based on a survey of works and proposals linked to the GEPEIMAZ Research Group, located in different sources and databases, assuming characteristics of an essentially bibliographic research, similar to the review of studies. The information presented, point to significant results, based on the production developed by the group, in order to demarcate the importance of research groups, in the consolidation of spaces for research, learning, teaching and professional development, in mathematics education, in the western region of Pará .
