The Journal Revista Prática Docente (RPD) is a free publication of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of the State of Mato Grosso, campus Confresa. Its aims to give visibility to the scientific production in the areas of Education contributing to the consolidation of teaching, research and extension, as well as to act as an instrument for the dissemination of studies and research carried out by national and international authors and / or groups. Abstract
This text presents an experiential report aimed at analyzing the relationship between the International System of Units and a local unit of measurement present in informal educational spaces: two agricultural product markets in the municipality of Parintins-AM. This text encourages the use of such spaces for the production of open-access content, which can be disseminated through open educational resources (OER) such as YouTube and podcasts to facilitate scientific dissemination (SD). From the results obtained, it is perceived that the materials produced and disseminated can serve as an incentive for frequent visitors to these spaces to develop further studies and begin to observe and understand them as knowledge-building spaces.
